- Image must be on a transparent background
- The brand name must be in either the image or text
- US creative must be in English
- Client can submit up to six pieces of creative for rotation
- We allow up to 2 creative optimizations (re-weighting and ad removal - no new ads) during normal business hours.
- Numbers, capital letters, and approved special characters will be counted as 1.5 characters
- Minimum characters allowed: Headline (top line): no less than 10 characters and 2nd & 3rd line of copy: no less than 30 characters per line
- List all URLs without 'www' (i.e. yahoo.com)
- No abbreviations allowed (please contact a Front Page Campaign Manager for exceptions)
- No multiple dashes
- No all caps
- No dollar sign unless a price follows it
- No exclamation points, special characters or ampersands allowed
- No inexplicit verbiage, such as "click now" or "click here"
- No phone numbers within the text
- Color and font sizes are fixed
- Character counts include spaces
- Must link to a landing page, not start an automatic download
- No pop-ups or pop-unders on the client's landing page.
- The offer in the creative must be present on the landing page, above the fold
- Back button must be enabled on the advertiser landing pages
- All creative is subject to Yahoo! approval
- One third party 1x1 tracking pixel & click command per creative is allowed
o All third party vendors must be approved specifically for the Homepage
o Please verify with Yahoo! whether or not the third party vendor is approved; if not, please note that 30 days lead time is required for the approval process
